Announcement:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the first Annual General Meeting of the Hong Kong Nuclear Society Limited will be held on Thursday, 23rd March 2020 at 6:50pm at Room 5-205, 5th Floor, Lau Ming Wai Academic Building (AC3), City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon Tong, for the following purposes:
- Acceptance of Memorandum and Articles of Association
- To confirm the Office Bearers, and Executive Committee (EXCO) members to serve the society for Session 2019/2020
- To receive and adopt the Financial Statement of the Treasurer and Auditor’s report
- To confirm the appointment of our Honorary Auditor, Mr Wong W.P. Ricky, for continuing to serve the society in the coming year
- To confirm the appointment of our Honorary Legal advisor, Mr Kan Tony, for serving our society in the coming year
- Any other business
If you are not available to attend the meeting in person, please complete the attached proxy letter and then send the signed letter as instructed in the document. On the other hand, in case of adjournment of the AGM, members of the Society shall check on the Society's website at www.hkns.hk, the revised venue, time and date for the adjourned AGM.

Announcement:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the eighth Annual General Meeting of the Hong Kong Nuclear Society will be held on Monday, 23rd March 2020 at 6:30pm at Room 5-205, 5th Floor, Lau Ming Wai Academic Building (AC3), City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon Tong, for the following purposes:
- To confirm the minutes of the Sixth AGM in 2017
- To confirm the minutes of the Seventh AGM in 2018
- To confirm the Office Bearers, and Members of the Executive Committee to serve the society for Session 2019/2020
- To receive and adopt the Report of the Chairman, including the current status of registering the society as a company limited by guarantee
- To receive and adopt the arrangement of membership transfer from the Hong Kong Nuclear Society (HKNS) to the Hong Kong Nuclear Society Limited (HKNS Ltd). The new company has sent emails to inform all current HKNS members to seek for their consents to transfer their memberships and personal particulars from HKNS to the new HKNS Ltd. So far, there are 39 members accepted to transfer. We expect that we will cancel our HKNS registration of a society under Societies Ordinance, Cap. 151, not later than 30th June 2020.
- To receive and adopt the Financial Statement of the Treasurer and Auditor’s report
